EIIP Support Time and Recovery (STR) Worker - Nepali Speaking (22.5 hours per week- 3 days) An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our award-winni...
- The purpose of this post is to work as part of the EIIP team and to focus on the direct needs of service users, working across boundaries of care, organisations and roles.
- To ensure that service users engage effectively with the agreed Care Plan and access appropriate services provided on a regular and consistent basis.
- Act as an interpreter at appointments and telephone calls where necessary as a Nepali speaking STR Worker, to give a continuity of support throughout appointments.
- Increase the use of information available in Nepali that is produced at the right level (graphic as well as written).
- Positively promote independent living of service users within the community.
- Provide regular and practical support to service users and their carers in developing and managing dignity and independence.

Additional Requirements
Essential: - NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
Experience
Essential: - Fluent in Nepali and English language - speaking and writing; - Experience of mental health services (as a worker, service users or carer)
Qualifications
Desirable: - NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
