Deputy ward manager - complex care

B1 Ward provides high-quality medical care for complex patients with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. We are looking to recruit a motivated, hardworking Deputy Ward Manager with strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a genuine passion for complex care and patient safety.

Applicants should have a sound knowledge of general medicine, experience in caring for patients with complex and multi-morbid needs, and be able to demonstrate excellent discharge planning skills to support safe and effective transitions of care.

We are seeking a dynamic leader who is enthusiastic, committed, and driven to continuously improve patient care. When working clinically, you will be expected to deliver high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based care, while providing support and reassurance to patients, relatives, and members of the multidisciplinary team.

The candidate must be willing to work 4 days a week to cover the service.

The ward is passionate about teaching and the applicant should have an interest/passion for developing others. Currently the ward is beginning to support the synergy project for nursing students.

You will receive regular supervision and developmental appraisal thus enhancing your current practice and future career prospects.

Qualification Essential NMC Registration Diploma in Nursing Desirable Relevant degree:
