Dental Technician

Construction of range of primary removable appliances and development in the production of complex appliances required for all the specialised clinics listed above.

Construction of study models and working models, mouth guards, bite raising appliances, repairs, relines and additions.

The role will also include the use of digital technologies, including intraoral and laboratory scanning, digital model manipulation and archiving, CAD/CAM workflows and 3D printing of orthodontic and other appropriate dental appliances and models.

Ensure that all equipment, whether issued personally or for communal use, is used in the correct and safe manner and faults are reported immediately to supervisor/line manager.

Qualifications

Essential: - BSc in Dental Technology or equivalent.; - GDC Registration

Desirable: - Msc Dental Technology (Orthodontics).
