Performing CT and MRI examinations in accordance with local protocols, policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
Maintaining consistently high standards of image quality and taking appropriate action where imaging does not meet the required diagnostic standard.
Managing patient flow and supporting the team to maintain expected patient throughput and minimise delays.
Completing and documenting daily QA/QC checks on imaging equipment and associated clinical equipment.
Ensuring the branch is clinically and operationally ready at the beginning of each working day.
Identifying and escalating equipment faults, image quality concerns, operational issues and potential service disruptions promptly.
Ensuring examinations are performed safely and in accordance with IR(ME)R, MRI safety requirements, local rules and TIC Health policies and procedures.
Supporting appropriate patient preparation, safety screening and clinical assessment prior to imaging.
Ensuring accurate completion of patient and examination documentation.
Supporting and providing guidance to Radiographers, HCAs and other members of the branch team.
Promoting a positive safety culture, including reporting incidents, near misses and concerns through the appropriate governance processes.
Maintaining high standards of infection prevention and control, patient dignity, confidentiality and professional conduct.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated HCPC Registered Radiographer with CT and MRI experience to join TIC Health and take responsibility for the day-to-day clinical running of a TIC Health branch. The post holder will work autonomously while providing high-quality CT and MRI imaging services, ensuring excellent standards of patient care, image quality, safety and operational efficiency are maintained throughout the service. They will act as a key point of contact for clinical and operational matters and escalate any concerns that may impact patient care or service delivery.The successful candidate will be an HCPC Registered Radiographer with strong CT and MRI experience, excellent clinical judgement and the confidence to take ownership of the day-to-day running of a busy imaging service.

Qualifications

Essential

We are looking for an experienced, confident and highly motivated CT/MRI Radiographer who is able to work autonomously and take responsibility for the day-to-day clinical and operational running of a TIC Health branch.
Essential Criteria
Qualifications & Registration
Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent recognised qualification.
Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Clinical Experience
Demonstrable post-registration experience working as a Diagnostic Radiographer.
Strong practical experience in both CT and MRI.
Previous experience working with Philips MRI systems.
Confident in independently performing a range of routine CT and MRI examinations.
Good understanding of CT and MRI imaging protocols and the ability to recognise and address image quality issues.
Experience of adapting imaging techniques appropriately according to patient presentation and clinical requirements.
Knowledge and understanding of MRI safety, including appropriate patient and implant screening.
Knowledge and understanding of IR(ME)R and its application within clinical practice.
Experience completing and documenting daily equipment QA/QC.
Ability to recognise equipment faults or performance concerns and escalate these appropriately.
Experience maintaining high standards of infection prevention and control.
Operational & Leadership Skills
Ability to work autonomously and confidently take responsibility for the day-to-day running of a diagnostic imaging branch.
