Clinical Nurse Manager

To co-ordinate and provide care and treatment to an identified group of patients without direct supervision. In addition, supporting junior staff in delivery of care provision.

To manage and organise work as required.

Take responsibility for the development and delivery of evidence based practice for service users with complex needs, ensuring that it supports and reflects service user individual needs, Trust objectives and professional guidance.

Promotes evidence based practice and embeds QI.

Postholder will be responsible for high quality care provision with highly complex service users and groups.

Furthermore, the post holder will be responsible for establishing and maintaining team systems and processes for the effective operation of the service. The successful candidate must display a considerable degree of initiative, possess mature judgement and maintain a calm, friendly and efficient manner when dealing with service users, their relatives, colleagues and visitors.

Qualifications

Essential: - Registered Nurse (Mental Health) OR Registered Nurse (Learning Disability) OR Registered Nurse (Adult)

Desirable: - Masters qualification or equivalent experience; - Specialist Area Training

Desirable: - Knowledge of implementing strategy, change management and practice development
