St Ann's Hospital is looking for a dedicated Catering Assistant to join our friendly catering team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that our ...
Preparing and serving meals to patients, staff and visitors.
Assisting with basic food preparation whilst maintaining the standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
Washing up and general cleaning duties, following food safety regulations and hospital policies whilst providing excellent customer service.
Take food trolleys to wards and deliver food to nearby hospital for Lunch and Supper.
Employment in this post requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.

Knowledge, Skills and Training
Essential
- Level 2 certificate in food hygiene or working towards
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of the team
- Good communication skills
- UK Driving License
Experience

- Previous experience in a similar role

- Knowledge of stock control procedures and methods

- Demonstrable skills in written and spoken English to a standard which enables the post holder to carry out the full range of duties and responsibilities of the role effectively.
