As a Care Assistant at Akari Care, you will play a critical role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by delivering exceptional care and collaborating with your colleagues and the broader Akari Care team. Your duties will involve assisting residents with daily living tasks, ranging from personal care to sharing meals or simply spending time with them. Your commitment to providing personalized care ensures that residents are treated with respect, dignity, and individuality. The role requires a warm, approachable, and engaging personality, along with good communication skills and a supportive nature. Flexibility and adaptability are crucial as you may need to respond to changing situations at short notice.
As a Care Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining the wellbeing of our residents through the provision of outstanding care, collaborating with colleagues and the wider Akari Care team. You will be kind and caring and committed to maintaining an environment in which our residents are valued, respected, retain their individuality and dignity, and lead fulfilled lives.
You will assist our residents with daily living. Every day is different and could include helping with personal care, meals or simply spending time with them. Working together to make a difference for our residents, we will respect their individual choices by providing personalised care and support.
