Cardiac Physiologist - Band 5

As a Healthcare Scientist/Cardiac Physiologist within the Cardio-Respiratory Department, you will be expected to work independently across all core aspects of cardiology diagnostics. This includes performing and analysing 12-lead ECGs, fitting and analysing ambulatory monitoring devices, conducting exercise tolerance tests in collaboration with a medic or senior cardiac physiologist and supporting stress echocardiography services.

Experience

Essential: - Previous experience of working within the cardio-respiratory department

Desirable: - Experience working with people of all ages; - Experience using Sentinel; - Experience using Mac Lab

Qualifications

Essential: - BSc in Healthcare Science (Cardiology); - ILS certificate

Desirable: - SCST professional qualification
