This is an excellent opportunity for an established Cath Lab Nurse or Radiographer to further your clinical and technical skills with a view to supporting the nursing and radiographer requirements of the department.
If you are a motivated individual who wants to be part of a fantastic team with a wide range of opportunities to further your skills and knowledge then this is the job for you!Main Duties of Job:
- Maintain a high standard of patient care and Radiographer support
- Split role of Nursing and Radiographer monitoring duties
- Engage in education and training relevant to role
- Contribute to creating and maintaining local policies in area
- Co-ordinate the daily flow in Cath labs when required

Qualifications
Essential
- Registered Nurse on the appropriate part of the NMC Register or Radiographer on Health & Care Professions Council register
- Post registration qualification or equivalent experience relevant to the clinical area
- Evidence of post registration professional development e.g. short specialist courses or experience to post graduate diploma level or equivalent
Experience

- Significant post registration, with evidence of good all round experience
Skills

- Significant Knowledge of Cardiac Cath Lab procedures, relevant imaging equipment and anatomy and pathology
Attitude, aptitude
