- To be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of own clinical and professional work, including the management of patients in your care
- To undertake comprehensive occupational therapy assessments of patients with a range of health and social care needs for presentations including but not limited to; medical and respiratory pathologies, orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions, gastrointestinalconditions, frailty, falls and stroke
- To gather relevant medical, clinical and social information and analyse and interpret all information gained to guide intervention
- Formulate and deliver an occupational therapy treatment programme based on sound knowledge of evidence based practice and treatment options, using clinical assessment and reasoning skills
- To plan and implement individual and/or group interventions, in collaboration with patients, using graded activity to achieve their therapeutic goals

Qualifications
Essential: - HPCP registration; - Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy
Experience
Essential: - Use of functional assessment and activity analysis; - Application of the OT process
Desirable
- Experience of working within a multidisciplinary and/or occupational therapy team
- Experience of working with people in a health or social services environment
Skills
Essential
- Ability to complete goal setting, planning, intervention & evaluation as part of OT process
- Ability to complete functional assessments to support OT process
- Ability to prioritise, organise and delegate.
Desirable: - Ability to work as a team; - Ability to reflect and critically appraise own performance
