Apprentice Clerical Assistant

Community Therapy Team

Based: Cromwell Road Primary Care Centre

30 hours per week - Mon - Fri

National Minimum Wage dependent on age.

Apprenticeship course- Level 2 Administration Assistant

This apprenticeship standard is open to

  • Young people aged 16-21.
  • Young people aged 22-24 who are care leavers, have an EHCP, or are prison leavers.

Duration - 12 months

Qualifications- Level 2 qualification in English and Maths is required (GCSE grade 4+/C+ or functional skills).

The post holder will work with supervision close by and within established procedures and will:

  • Provide administrative support to the manager and clinical staff in providing Occupational and Physiotherapy Therapy assessment and intervention to physically disabled residents living in North East Lincolnshire thereby helping to maintain people's independence and improved health and wellbeing.
  • Undertake routine clerical duties, e.g. photocopying, scanning, computer work, message taking, telephone enquiries.

  • Level 2 or equivalent qualification in computer applications

Experience

Desirable

  • Experience of working with people with varying levels of communication skills/abilities
  • Experience of working in a care environment
  • Recent experience of working in an office/reception (within the last year)
  • Experience of working with the public (both face to face and on the telephone)
  • Competent in use of M365 applications and willingness to utilise digital tools.
