If you have strong communication skills both written and verbal as well as people skills that can create a welcoming environment for both colleagues and patients attending the service, this could be the role for you!Patient care is at the forefront of our tasks and responsibilities and from an administrative perspective, this is portrayed via some of the tasks listed below:- Typing and processing AOS letters and Electronic Discharge Letter (EDL's)- Scanning PICC line documents onto ARIA (departmental system)- Collecting and compiling AOHS data reports for local and national partners- Accurate recording of patient data in real time and retrospectively- Prompt and efficient management of the Cancer Nurse Specialist (CNS) Admin mailbox for PICC/PORT appointments with NCIR & Vascular Access- Fulfil the role of Ward Clerk on AOHS- Update the Somerset Cancer Registry as and when required.
The key responsibility of this position is to record the data for AOHS and CNS activity and be the ward clerk within AOHS, Hoveton Ward.

- Good general standard of education
Experience

- Previous clerical work including data input.
Desirable
- Experience in NHS or customer service organisation.

- Preference for working in and supporting a multi-disciplinary team.
