We are recruiting for an AHP Lead to work in a leadership capacity as part of our newly created leadership team overseeing the Trust Locality services working at a network level.
As the AHP Lead you will have responsibility for the delivery of optimal outcomes for service users and the local health population within the available resources. You will ensures the development and delivery of locality/clinical network operational objectives including performance, resource efficiency and management of workforce plans in line with geography, specialty areas and clinical strategy. You will also work closely with the Principal AHP to develop, direct and lead service improvement and performance strategies and policies to support the delivery of safe and effective care.
Working as part of a multi-professional leadership team, this post is one of six key leadership roles who will be working together to provide senior strategic, visible, clinical and professional leadership across the locality/clinical network. As AHP Lead you will lead and manage services at locality/clinical network level.

Qualifications
Essential
- Educated to Degree Level or equivalent with significant management or leadership experience in one of the recognised AHP Professions
- Registration with the Health Professions Council and a minimum of 5 years clinical experience
Experience
Essential
- At least five years' experience in a leadership or management role involving aspects of policy and modernisation of care
Skills
Essential
- High level of communication, negotiation and influencing skills within complex, diverse & at times competitive and unreceptive environments.
- Ability to inspire and engage staff and encourage improvement, innovation and development.
Knowledge
Essential
- Understanding of technical advances within the professions which will impact of service delivery and education.
- Knowledge and understanding of key priorities and policy direction for AHP Professions
