Advanced Pharmaceutical Scientist

Leading the development and on-going delivery of the QC service for Microbiology, Temperature Monitoring/Control and Gas Testing.

Contributing to the co-ordination and operational management of the overall QC service.

Driving improvement and innovation of the QC service.

Ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.

Providing specialist advice across all areas of preparative services, the wider MMPS and external customers.

Planning and management of projects to support continuous improvement within the QC Service.

Planning validation strategies and activities.

Lead on specialist staff training and staff development.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with significant experience in quality control and pharmaceutical/aseptic services who is passionate about patient safety, service excellence and continuous improvement.

The post is full time, Monday-Friday. There will also be some Bank Holiday and weekend commitments. The department aims to support flexible working arrangements and part-time hours will be considered.
