The post holder will work as an Advanced Specialist Practitioner within Cardiac Imaging, where they will be an advocate for radiographer professional development and use their advanced knowledge to support specialist radiographer education and training. They will provide high quality, effective Imaging services within Cardiac CT. The post holder will work closely with Radiographers, students and clinical staff of all grades in providing safe, prompt and effective imaging. This will be done at the Community Diagnostics Centre (CDC) at Mile End.

Qualifications
Essential
- BSc or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography
- HCPC State Registration
Desirable
- Post Graduate specialist training equivalent to Master's level.
Experience
Essential
- Demonstrable evidence of expert Cardiac CT radiographic experience.
- Experience of working with junior staff and students.
- Vast practical Cardiac Radiography experience post qualification
Desirable
- Experience in perusing innovation and role development in Cardiac CT radiography.
- Experience in more than one hospital.
- Evidence of experience of first line management
Knowledge
Essential
- Evidence of advanced knowledge in Cardiac CT imaging.
- Portfolio of evidence of advanced professional development/training and education for Cardiac CT Radiography.
- Evidence that knowledge of Cardiac CT imaging techniques is up to date.
- Evidence of the ability to critically analyse Cardiac CT radiography practice and role development/training potential.
Desirable
- Post graduate specialist Cardiac CT training equivalent to Master's level
