- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the specialist palliative care service
- Manage records, correspondence and data with a high level of accuracy
- Support meetings, appointments and communication across the team
- Prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a busy environment
- Handle sensitive and emotive information with professionalism and compassion
What we're looking for: - Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Clear communication and good interpersonal skills
- Confidence using office systems and managing information
- Ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure
- A respectful and thoughtful approach to sensitive situations

Qualifications
Essential: - Level 3 in Business Administration or Customer Service or equivalent knowledge and experience; - Level 2 in Word Processing and Text Production
Knowledge and Experience
Essential
- Comprehensive knowledge of a range of routine administration procedures
- Knowledge of a range of software programmes, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Previous experience of working in an office environment and carrying out general officer procedures
- Previous experience of supervising a team
- Previous experience of working with general public
Desirable: - Knowledge of other Microsoft packages; - Experience of SystmOne functions; - Previous NHS experience
