The successful applicants will be expected to
- Deliver quality Orthogeriatric and medical services in the most effective way regularly benchmarking service to improve practice, under the supervision of a Consultant Orthogeriatrician
- Continue to enhance and develop the Orthogeriatric service
- Work to strengthen links with GP's and neighbouring Trusts
- Meet NHFD target for delivering best practice care in Fractured Neck of Femur patients
- Initiate and take part in regular clinical audit
- Have an active role in research
- Support the organisational aim of Croydon University NHS Trust.
Croydon Health Services NHS Trust provide hospital and community services from a number of community and specialist clinics throughout Croydon. The Trust was formed on 1st August 2010 through the integration of Croydon Community Health Services and Mayday Healthcare NHS Trust. - Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients
- Experience in research methods and proven ability
- Committed to CME
Desirable
- Evidence of research and audit with appropriate publications
- Training of undergraduate and post-graduates
