The post holder will provide clinical leadership, managerial and supervisory support for the Triage Hub and staff. The role is split into 80% leadership and 20% clinical.

You will be expected to work in a clinical role, providing expert guidance and clinical knowledge to the staff members, alongside managing the team. You will lead the Triage Hub daily, implementing and leading robust HUDDLES, ensuring effective day-to-day management and support to the team. You will be required to work closely with the planned and unplanned services, participate in change management and service development and improvement, to facilitate high quality care to patients using the service.

This service operates between 08:00 - 20:00, seven days per week, including weekends and bank holidays, on a rotational basis.

Qualifications

Essential

  • RGN
  • Completion of a recognised leadership course

Desirable

  • District Nurse SPQ
  • Evidence of further formal management study or qualification

Knowledge

Essential

  • Open, participative, and supportive leadership and management style.
  • Ability to define and develop effective systems of service delivery.

Desirable

  • Service improvement.
