Full time staff currently work their contracted hours over 4 days and are given a rolling day off each week. The post is based at Poole with a rotation between the main and satellite unit at Dorchester during a typical year.

Qualifications
Essential: - DCR(T)/BSc Hons Radiotherapy; - HCPC registration - Therapeutic Radiographer
Desirable: - Other relevant courses or academic qualifications
Experience
Essential
- Ability to demonstrate an appropriate knowledge on a range of radiotherapy treatment equipment and techniques
- Experiences of issues of patient care within the grade of the position and appropriate healthcare setting
- Experience of delivering patient care and advice to radiotherapy patients
Desirable: - Working with 3rd party organisations in patient support or education
Skills
Essential
- Ability to setup radiotherapy techniques using a linear accelerator and its imaging functions
- Ability to use a record and verify system
- IT Skills
- Good organisational skills and time keeping
- Demonstrable good communication skills both verbal and written
Desirable: - Able to use a treatment planning system
