As Temporary Staffing Lead, you will have oversight of the Trust's temporary staffing function, ensuring bank and agency workforce requirements are managed effectively and efficiently.
You will
- Lead on the implementation of the Trust's temporary staffing strategy and support initiatives to reduce agency expenditure.
- Act as the key operational contact for external staffing suppliers, managing performance, compliance and service delivery.
- Build effective relationships with hiring managers, clinical teams, workforce colleagues and Integrated Care Board partners.
- Monitor temporary staffing activity, workforce performance measures and supplier KPIs, ensuring issues are identified and addressed promptly.
- Support the development and maintenance of policies, procedures and governance processes relating to temporary staffing.
- Oversee workforce systems and rostering processes, ensuring data quality, compliance and operational effectiveness.Produce and analyse workforce data and dashboards to support decision-making and workforce planning.
We're looking for a proactive and collaborative individual with experience in temporary staffing, workforce operations or workforce systems.
You will have experience of working with temporary staffing providers, managing workforce performance information and supporting managers to navigate staffing policies and procedures. A good understanding of NHS temporary staffing rules, compliance requirements and eRostering systems will be essential.
You'll be an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills, capable of building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and confidently managing competing priorities. Most importantly, you'll be passionate about delivering a high-quality service and supporting positive workforce outcomes.
