We have an exciting opportunity for someone to lead our small, friendly team in North Somerset. As a Team Manager, you will provide support and guidance to tutors to work in a psychologically and trauma informed way, be values led and be looking to grow both personally and professionally.
You will have experience of managing and directing a community-based service working within a psycho-educational/recovery college approach utilising co-production methods.
As well as proven experience of budget/financial management, you will have excellent IT skills, working on MS Office programmes, systems/databases and the ability to understand and use performance information to drive ongoing service improvement.
The successful candidate will have the ability to develop and manage relationships with key partners, and experience of leading a dispersed team, providing effective team supervision, support and guidance.
Ensure that service runs effectively on a day-to-day basis meeting targets as agreed with Service Manager.
Effectively manage team to ensure that service objectives and standards are met and that development plans for all service staff are produced that support the people development objectives of the organisation.
Produce regular service reports and assist Senior Operations Manager to carry out monitoring and evaluation activities for department.
Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures in line with legislation and recognised best practice.
Facilitate service user and carer co-production, feedback and involvement in organisation and services.

Experience
Essential
- Proven experience of effective team supervision
- Proven experience working in a community-based service (e.g. supported housing service, community mental health team, day centre, education)
- Proven experience of effective risk management and working within standard operating procedures
- Proven experience of budget / financial management
Desirable: - Experience of innovating and implementing new services
