- To be operationally responsible for the Mental Health Support Teams and ensure that is fulfils the core offer.
- To ensure that all workforce responsibilities are carried out, such as managing performance, annual leave, sickness, expenses, annual appraisals, operational supervision, training requirements.
- To work alongside the Teams in building and strengthening relationships with schools working with the Mental Health Support Teams.
- To develop and maintain good referral links withCAMHS STWPathways.
- To develop and maintain good working relationships withCAMHS STWPartners and external agencies within health, social care and third sector organisations.
- To be responsible for the Teams in meeting national and local performance targets.
- To ensure the quality and accuracy of data and reports that are submitted to the Contracts Commissioner for reporting up to NHS England.
- To demonstrate outstanding leadership and management skills to ensure the on-gong development of staff and the service.
- To contribute to the development of ideas and innovative practice and propose changes to protocols and procedures within the Mental Health Support Teams and CAMHSSTWwhere required.
- To initiate and participate in departmental audit as requested by the Service Manager or Quality Improvement Lead.

Essential
- Degree level education.
Desirable
- Core professions: Nurse NMC professional body, AHP professional bodies and EMHP and CWP with professional bodies BABCP or BSP

- Knowledge of Children's Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health
Desirable
- Knowledge of educational systems and structures
Experience
Essential
- Of working with CYP with emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties
- Of working within an MDT

- Of working within school environments
Skills

- Demonstratable leadership and management skills, i.e budget, supervision, HR processes, recruitment, training
