Cygnet Group is looking for a compassionate and confident Day Support Worker to join our dedicated team at Nightingale.

This is more than just a job. It's an opportunity to build meaningful relationships, support people to achieve greater independence, and make a lasting impact on the lives of adults with autism and learning disabilities.

Working full-time, 42 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, you'll play a vital role in helping the people we support live fulfilling, rewarding lives in a safe and nurturing environment.

Your Day-to-Day...

  • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all our service users, patients and residents
  • Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support
  • Learn about individuals specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way
  • Assist with medical and welfare needs and report as required
  • Safeguard those in our care
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for all
  • Support service users with community-based activities and appointments, including driving when required

You Are...

  • Genuinely driven with a desire to make a real difference in peoples lives
  • An excellent communicator and a good team player
  • Sensitive and intuitive, with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating and varied environment
  • Committed to empowering and supporting service user independence
  • In possession of a full UK driving licence, held for a minimum of 2 years
