This role involves working with individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health, and complex needs, and will require someone who is enthusiastic with great interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude. The Support Worker will be responsible for providing tailored person-centred support, assisting individuals in living fulfilling and independent lives by helping them achieve their goals and maintain wellbeing. This includes supporting activities of daily living, such as social activities, personal care, meal planning, and budgeting. The role also involves effectively communicating using peoples chosen methods, encouraging people to participate in community activities, and reporting any changes in health or circumstances to management. The position is based in Beeston, Nottingham, and offers a salary of £12.90 per hour, with additional benefits such as a refer a friend scheme, career development opportunities, a company pension scheme, and a Blue Light card discount package.

Encouraging people to play active roles in the communities in which they live, to encourage independence.

Supporting Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.

Communicating- effectively communicate using peoples chosen methods

Engaging- promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life

Specialising - supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches

Recording- keeping accurate records &reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management

Team player Working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.
