Support Worker

The role of Support Worker at Enable in Trowbridge is a permanent position with a salary of £13.20 per hour. This service supports 3 ladies living with learning disabilities in a small village between Melksham and Trowbridge with great public transport links to the wider community. To live independently within their own home and community.

Encouraging people to play active roles in the communities in which they live, to encourage independence.

Supporting Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.

Communicating- effectively communicate using peoples chosen methods

Engaging - promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life

Specialising - supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches

Recording- keeping accurate records & reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management

Team player Working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.
