The role of Support Worker at Enable in Trowbridge is a permanent position with a salary of £13.20 per hour. This position specifically requires female applicants due to the nature of providing personal care to women, as per the Genuine Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010. The job involves working enthusiastically to make a significant impact in assisting people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health issues, and complex needs. You'll work in Semington, a village near Trowbridge, supporting three women to live independently. Where youll be working

Semington, Trowbridge

This service supports 3 ladies living with learning disabilities in a small village between Melksham and Trowbridge with great public transport links to the wider community. To live independently within their own home and community.

We are looking for support workers to join our amazing team, to continue delivering outstanding outcomes.

Encouraging people to play active roles in the communities in which they live, to encourage independence.

Supporting Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.

Communicating- effectively communicate using peoples chosen methods

Engaging - promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life

Specialising - supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches

Recording- keeping accurate records & reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management

Team player Working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.
