To provide administrative support to the Strategic Commissioning, Contracting and Transformation Leads, clinical leads and the wider team including: diary management, booking meetings, planning events, organising travel, correspondence, prioritising emails and pro-active action taking.
Provide administrative support for the contracting cycle: organisation and formal documentation of contract review meetings (CRMs) and quality visits with a range of providers.
Provide project management support to a range of projects within the team portfolio, this will include: day to day management of the projects, development of detailed project plans for sign off by relevant project boards, identifies all associated risks and issues including resolving day-to-day problems independently, maintains project action log, monitoring and administration of the associated project budget including authorised signatory for small payments in relation to project.

Qualifications and Education
Essential
- Education to GCSE Level C in English & Maths or equivalent
- High Level of IT Literacy
Desirable
- An advanced qualification, NVQ / BTech or degree would be advantageous but is not essential
- Project Management qualification
Communication Skills
Essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels both internally and externally
Knowledge and Training
Essential
- Excellent IT skills, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and N365 and the willingness to learn
- Maintaining accurate electronic records systems, capable of information retrieval, analysis and dissemination to relevant parties
Desirable
- Able and willing to undertake ongoing continuous professional development, attend workshops, training and conferences to further knowledge
Experience
Essential
- Able to demonstrate experience of providing secretarial and administration support
- Experience with supporting committees or similar meetings including organising meetings (virtual & face to face) including the drafting of agendas
- Experience of taking accurate and concise minutes
Desirable
- Experience of managing projects within complex, challenging and changing environments
- Previous experience in working within the NHS is not essential with other comparable or similar experience would be welcome

- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Be able to recognise and handle sensitive and confidential information
Planning Skills
Essential
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to priorities workload and meet competing deadlines when under pressure
- Demonstrate a high level of literacy, attention to detail and accuracy with ability to draft documents which are user friendly and to proof-read
