The Early Intervention Team (EIT) for Trafford are looking for a Support, Time and Recovery Worker to work across the Trafford Borough, supporting ind...
The role is to provide support and give time to an allocated group of service users who are open to the EIT service with the purpose of helping to promote recovery, social inclusion and supporting them to develop skills to enable them to function in their community environment.

Education/Training
Essential
- NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent level of experience within a mental health care setting relevant to the advertised role
Desirable
- Care Certificate
Experience
Essential
- Experience of supporting individuals receiving mental health care within a relevant setting to the advertised role.
- Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience of working autonomously within a healthcare setting and managing own tasks accordingly
Desirable
- Experience of working with people with psychosis and their families
- Lived experience of psychosis or caring for a loved one who has experienced psychosis.
Knowledge
Essential
- Awareness of low-level psychological interventions and how these can be used as part of an MDT approach to support an individual (e.g. Graded Exposure)
- Understanding and experience of implementing confidentiality in accordance with trust policies and procedures.
Desirable
- Basic understanding of physical health matters
Skills & Abilities
Essential
- Ability to assess and feedback risk.
- Ability to function effectively as a team member.
