We are looking for a passionate staff nurse to join our team.
The cardiac ward looks after patients with a variety of different cardiac conditions.
The role will include taking responsibility for the safe and effective delivery of care for a number of patients supported by the ward senior team.

Education and qualifications
Essential
- NMC Registration or Newly Qualified
- Evidence of ongoing professional development.
- BLS trained
- Preparation for Mentorship
Desirable
- Recognised post-registration cardiac course or willing to undertake.
- Teaching qualification e.g. ENB 998 or equivalent.
- ILS.
Experience and knowledge
Essential
- Acute NHS general nursing experience.
- Interest and insight into cardiac nursing.
Desirable
- Previous theatre/scrub nurse work.
- Previous Cardiology nursing experience.
Personal qualities

- Evidence of good attendance and time keeping and attendance.
- Team player.
- Communication skills.
- Organisational skills.
- Calm under pressure.
- Committed to delivering a high-quality service.
