We would like to offer an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic podiatrist to join our multidisciplinary diabetic foot team based at the...

You will work as a member of the diabetic foot team in both inpatient and outpatients treating people with acute diabetic foot complications.

You will experience dedicated medical and surgical clinics and ward rounds.

You will be supported to develop skills in the management of infection, specialist debridement and off-loading.

You will be involved in clinical research being carried out within the department.

The Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital is a teaching Hospital; therefore, you will be actively involved in the delivery of departmental education material.

Qualifications/training and professional development

Essential

  • Diploma/Degree in Podiatry
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council (UK)
  • Evidence of CPD, maintained in a portfolio showing CPD events/activity relevant to the clinical speciality

Skills, abilities and knowledge

Essential

  • Working knowledge of a broad range of conditions
  • Ability to undertake comprehensive specialist assessment of patients using investigative and analytical skills and to make a clinical diagnosis based on presenting signs and symptoms.

Desirable

  • Understanding of clinical governance and implications for services, including experience of quality issues and audit. Including NICE guidance
