- To provide a high standard physiotherapy service, performing advanced assessments of patients including those with highly complex presentations, and from this formulating a diagnosis and treatment.
- To provide leadership for support staff and junior staff through supervision and training.
- To participate in the planning and development of Physiotherapy Services.
- Model and deliver excellent evidence based clinical care, working as an autonomous physiotherapist.
- To support the community rehabilitation and reablement model in line with a 'one workforce' culture across services, settings, and sectors in the community and step-down intermediate care settings.
This is a community-based role that requires frequent travel to various locations throughout the county including areas that may not be accessible by public transportation. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate how they will manage these travel requirements.

Education / Qualifications
Essential: - Professional Qualification - Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy; - Current Professional registration - HCPC
Desirable: - Member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapists; - Evidence of further training relevant to speciality e.g. Post Graduate Courses
Experience
Essential
- Broad range of post graduate experience of medical, surgical, orthopaedic and neurological settings
- Extensive post-registration experience
- Comprehensive experience of working as an physiotherapist with patients with complex conditions
- Experience of co-ordinating and delegating tasks to others within a team
Desirable
- A broad range of clinical experience in a variety of community and inpatient settings.
- Experience of providing regular supervision for junior team members
- Participation in clinical audit/research activity
