As part of a multidisciplinary team, your responsibilities will include managing and supporting forensic service users with mental health issues, conducting assessments, crafting CPA reports, attending Mental Health Tribunals, and overseeing hearings. You will also supervise junior staff. In a senior capacity, you will drive child and adult safeguarding initiatives and encourage service users to actively engage in their care plans. The role involves collaborating with external agencies to ensure statutory duties are met and providing support to carers and families of detained patients. Thornford Park offers a seamless integral pathway supporting and empowering service users in their recovery and rehabilitation. The medium, low secure and rehabilitation wards, as well as a psychiatric intensive care units (PICUs) are all set within 21 acres in the Berkshire countryside.
