  • Coordinate performance reporting and management information processes, supporting the monitoring of service performance and improvement activity.
  • Analyse data and information to identify trends, risks and emerging themes, presenting findings clearly to support decision making.
  • Support service reviews, project work and improvement initiatives across Children's Services.
  • Maintain effective systems, records and information management processes, ensuring compliance with GDPR and information governance requirements.
  • Support budget monitoring, procurement activity and financial administration in accordance with Council procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes, systems and ways of working to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

We are looking for an experienced business support professional who is confident working with senior leaders and thrives in a busy and changing environment.

  • Experience supporting senior management teams within a complex organisation.
  • Experience producing reports and management information for senior leaders.
  • Experience analysing information and presenting findings clearly.
  • Experience taking accurate minutes and maintaining action logs.

  • Understanding of Children's Services governance, performance and quality assurance arrangements.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office, Outlook and Teams.
  • Knowledge of data analysis, performance reporting and information management.
  • Understanding of GDPR, data protection and information governance requirements.
  • Knowledge of financial administration processes.

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyse complex information and produce clear reports.
  • Ability to work independently and use sound judgement.
  • Strong coordination and project support skills.
  • Ability to review and improve administrative processes and systems.
  • High levels of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.
