Job introductionYou can also see our full list of employee benefits on our careers site here: Why you should work for us | West Northamptonshire Council.About the roleAs a Shift Lead, you’ll be at the heart of the home – leading your team, shaping each shift, and making sure every resident receives safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.Additional informationYou’ll have previous experience working in adult health or social care and an understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and current care standards. Ideally, you’ll hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) and be confident working flexibly across a range of shifts.It would be great if you also have experience with administering and managing medication within a residential or dementia care setting, and are working towards your NVQ Level 3.Please note, if you do not live locally to Daventry, public transport links can be limited, particularly given the shift patterns for this role.This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore subject to an enhanced DBS certificate, at our cost.
