The post holder will have responsibility for the day-to-day operational management. You will be responsible for monitoring and achieving key performance indicators, contracted activity, finance, service/quality standards and service productivity and efficiency.
The post holder will support the service development and improvement, ensuring delivery of MFT's Strategic aims and support Care Division cross-cutting workstreams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential, as the role requires building positive relationships across multidisciplinary teams. The successful individual will be proactive and resilient, with a genuine passion for driving service improvement and delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications
Essential
- Graduate or or equivalent level of experience
- Managerial qualification equivalent to post graduate diploma or equivalent experience
- Master's Degree or equivalent experience.
Desirable
- Experience or qualification relating to specialty
Knowledge
Essential
- Knowledge of specific area acquired through a degree or equivalent experience or training.
- Highly specialist knowledge of managing within a NHS healthcare setting.
- Detailed knowledge and experience of managing capacity, demand and activity.
- Knowledge of managing staff within a healthcare setting and experience of managing a Directorate.
- Knowledge and experience of project/programme management.
