- Providing operational leadership and support to all aspects of the colorectal service, including pathway development, service improvement and ensuring robust Data quality.
- Have responsibility for ensuring services are delivered within exactly performance and quality metrics, identifying improvements and potential risks within areas of responsibility.
- The individual will lead on operational performance, ensuring delivery of KPI's including waiting time targets and activity levels.
- Support with activity planning and development of capacity and demand modelling.
- Support divisional senior team in the delivery of cost improvement plans (CIP), have budgetary authority and responsibility for specified areas.
- The role will support the General Manager and Clinical Director in service developments and lead on improvement plans.
- You should possess excellent communication and leadership skills and be able to demonstrate your ability to remain positive in challenging times.

- Educated to degree level or equivalent knowledge, skills and management experience

- Previous operational management experience within the acute sector or similarly complex organisation
