As a Senior Treatment Scheduler, you will lead the Chemotherapy Scheduling Team and play a key role in ensuring patients receive timely and coordinated cancer treatment. You will manage complex treatment schedules, maximise the use of treatment capacity and work closely with clinicians, nursing teams, pharmacy and other departments to ensure patient pathways run smoothly.

Alongside scheduling responsibilities, you will provide day-to-day leadership to the team, including training, supporting staff development, managing sickness and performance, and ensuring high standards of patient care and data quality are maintained. You will also monitor waiting times, identify potential issues early and implement solutions to minimise delays and maintain compliance with Cancer Waiting Times targets.

Experience

Essential

  • Significant experience in NHS or customer service organisation
  • Experienced in the use of Aria Chemotherapy scheduling systems
  • Significant Treatment Scheduler or Waiting List Coordinator experience
