The purpose of this role
is to provide operational leadership across a portfolio of Modality services,
ensuring services are safe, effective, efficient, responsive and consistently
deliver against contractual, financial and organisational expectations.
The post holder will be
responsible for working alongside clinicians, back-office teams and system
partners to ensure delivery of high-quality services for all clients/patients.
We are seeking a dedicated

Modality LLP is a provider of NHS community outpatient services within a number of regions across the UK.
Our service offer and expertise include
- Over 15 years of experience of delivering community outpatient services
- Contracts with ICBs and hospital providers
- A diverse clinical workforce of consultants, GPs with extended roles, specialist nurses and allied health professionals
- Delivery of over 160,000 patient consultations per year
- Delivery of 1st consultations within a maximum of 4 weeks from referral from a choice of community locations, 7 days per week

Knowledge
Essential
- Significant operational management experience in a NHS/private healthcare setting, including experience in a compliance, quality or governance-focused capacity.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience, with evidence of continuous professional development.
- Understanding of the role of NHS bodies such as ICBs, Acute providers, CQC, NHS England and NHS Improvement.
- Experience of developing and embedding policies, pathways and standard operating procedures across multiple services.
Skills
Essential
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining effective working relationships with partner organisations.
- Strong track record of leading compliance, quality or governance functions.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex data to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership/management skills, including experience managing managers (Service Managers/Team Leads) and large teams.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to triangulate data across multiple services to identify themes and risks.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure to tight and often changing timescales.
- Excellent IT skills, including experience with clinical and quality/compliance reporting systems.
- Extensive experience of working in an operational environment.
- Ability to lead complex negotiations with internal/external partners.
- Experience in developing and implementing services.

- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience, with evidence of continuous professional development.

- Flexible can do attitude with a confident, friendly and approachable manner.
- Able to work autonomously and take direction and feedback.
- To confidently deal with complex issues including effective negotiation and influencing skills and escalate to the appropriate person/forum accordingly.

- Confident in presenting information/updates to stakeholders.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Tactful and diplomatic, with the ability to influence and persuade others to realign practice where necessary.
- Car driver/able to travel across sites.
