Key elements of the role are

To assist in the dispensing and supply of medicines for Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

To carry out and report on routine finger prick blood tests for patients attending the Pharmacy led Anticoagulant Clinic.

To act as receptionist in the Pharmacy led Anticoagulant Clinic and pharmacy reception when required.

Candidates must have significant experience of providing Pharmacy Support Services and must hold a Level 2 NVQ in Pharmacy Services or be prepared to work towards it.

This post would be ideal for those working in community pharmacy and wanting to take a step into working within secondary care.

  • NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or willing to work towards this qualification - in which case the salary will be paid at 75% of top of Band 3 salary, until the qualification is obtained).

  • Demonstrates continued professional development or equivalent knowledge through experience
  • Flexibility in working hours to suit the needs of the department
