Senior Occupational Therapy

As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will provide safe, effective, evidence-based and person-centred occupational therapy intervention for people with a range of complex health and care needs.

You will undertake holistic assessments and use advanced clinical reasoning to plan, deliver and evaluate individualised rehabilitation programmes. Working collaboratively with patients, families and carers, you will identify meaningful and achievable goals that promote independence, improve quality of life and support safe and timely discharge.

Qualifications

Essential: - BSc, diploma or equivalent professional qualification in Occupational Therapy.; - Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Desirable: - Further training, study or qualifications relevant to intermediate care, rehabilitation, frailty or the management of complex conditions.

Experience

Desirable: - Recent experience in a community, intermediate care or rehabilitation setting.
