As the postholder, you will be responsible for the following:
o Typing and formatting clinic letters and correspondence to a high standard
o Booking OPAs and TCIs for patients (cancer and non-cancer)
o Managing patient queries via telephone and email in a timely and compassionate manner
o Supporting the wider multi-disciplinary team
o Effective PTL management
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
o Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload
o A proactive and flexible approach to working within a fast-paced clinical environment
o Confidence in using electronic patient systems and Microsoft Office applications

- RSA III or equivalent training or experience
- Maintenance of skills and knowledge base through mandatory training and work experience.

- Previous digital/audio typing experience
- Previous NHS experience, knowledge of the NHS agenda and government targets, implementing and proposing changes to policy within own work area
