Your role as a Senior Care Assistant involves working with the Care team to deliver top-notch personal care, ensuring a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for all involved. You'll monitor residents' wellbeing, be involved in care planning, support medication requirements, provide staff supervision, and act as a key contact for residents' families and healthcare professionals. Success in this role requires living our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable. Ideal candidates should hold an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care homes, possess 2 years experience in a similar environment, effectively communicate, support and nurture residents and staff, and be responsive and flexible in fulfilling responsibilities.

Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be tosupportand work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open,supportive, andinclusiveenvironment for residents, visitors and staff.
- Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
- Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
- Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
- Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
- Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.

- Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
