As a Senior Care Assistant - Nights at Poets Mews Care Home, you will become a vital part of the team, ensuring the well-being of residents while delivering high standards of personal care. This position requires supporting and working alongside the Care team to create a safe, caring, and inclusive environment. Key responsibilities include monitoring residents well-being, managing care plans, and supporting medication requirements. The role also involves undertaking staff supervisions and being a key point of contact for residents, their families, and health professionals. Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be tosupportand work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open,supportive, andinclusiveenvironment for residents, visitors and staff.
- Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
- Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
- Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
- Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
- Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.

- Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
- Have 2 years experience working in similar care environment.
- Have the ability tocommunicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Have a positive attitude to bothsupporting and nurturing residents and staff.
- Beresponsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

Essential
- The ideal candidate must have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes and a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar care environment. The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, is essential. A positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing both residents and staff is required, along with being responsive and flexible to various responsibilities.
