We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Estates & Facilities Team as a Housekeeper, working the rota pattern out...
- To provide an effective and efficient food and beverage service in linewith Food Safety and Hygiene legislation and Improving the PatientExperience (ItPE) protocols.
- To provide an effective and efficient cleaning service in line with NHSNational Standards Cleanliness 2021.
- To meet the requirements of patients, service users, staff, and visitorsto maintain and provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
- To work between two BDCFT Hospitals (Lynfield Mount & Airedale Centre for Mental Health.)
This position is not eligible for sponsorship set by the Home Office and the skilled worker visa occupation list.

Knowledge
Essential: - Awareness of cleanliness standards within a healthcare environment; - Understanding of COSHH
Desirable: - Awareness of food service environment standards; - Basic knowledge of I.T systems e.g. word outlook
Qualifications
Essential
- Level 2 Certificate in Food Safety (or willing to work towards during 6-month probationary period)
- Allergen Level 2 Certification (or willing to work towards during 6-month probationary period)
Desirable: - NVQ Level 1 in Cleaning and Support Services or equivalent experience; - NVQ Level 2 in Cleaning and Support Services or equivalent experience
Experience
Essential: - Experience of either food service or cleaning within a healthcare environment; - Understanding the importance of health & safety
Desirable
- Experience of working in a food service environment
- Experience of working in a customer service environment
- Experience of using industrial cleaning equipment
