As a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, your primary focus will be to support the Care team in delivering high standards of personal care to residents. You will work in a supportive and inclusive environment, adding a positive impact to the lives of residents daily. Responsibilities include monitoring the wellbeing of residents, updating care plans, and supporting medication requirements. You will also be involved in care planning and undertake staff supervisions. Avery is looking for individuals who live by values of caring, honesty and respect, with NVQ 3 in care homes and at least 2 years experience. Communication skills, a positive attitude, and flexibility are essential.

Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be tosupportand work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open,supportive, andinclusiveenvironment for residents, visitors and staff.
Other responsibilitieswillinclude
- Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
- Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
- Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
- Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
- Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.

- Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
