As a Second Chef at Barchester, you will work with fresh seasonal food, assisting the Head Chef in creating nutritious and flavoursome menus tailored to residents' needs. Enjoy delivering high standards without split shifts or long weeks. Engage with residents and deliver person-centered hospitality. Manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, work with fresh produce, maintain high quality and standards, and create a fun environment. Working as a Second Chef at Barchester, you will have the chance to deliver hotel/restaurant standards without the split shifts and long weeks. You will assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavoursome and well balanced menus whilst working with residents to tailor menus around them. Qualifications
Essential: - Hold City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent. Good understanding of nutrition. Experience of working with fresh seasonal food. Understanding of HACCP.
