- As a Theatre Practitioner (Nurse or ODP) your role will be in Scrub and/or Anaesthetics delivering a consistently high standard of patient care utilising evidence-based practice.
- You will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate all aspect of patient care, prepare patients and aid with clinical/operative procedures and participate fully as a team member, including working in all areas of the theatre suite, sharing knowledge and information and supporting colleagues, to promote a cohesive team and the achievement of team objectives.

Education/ qualifications
Essential
- Registered Nurse (NMC) OR Operating Department Practitioner (HCPC)
- Newly qualified or post registration experience acceptable
- Evidence of peri-operative interest or placement
Desirable
- Theatre experience (scrub / anaesthetic)
- Completion of peri operative competencies
- Experience in acute hospital setting
Skills
Essential
- Ability to work in fast-paced clinical environment
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Basic IT skills
