- Two sessions on Mondays.
- A mixture of face-to-face and telephone consultations, as clinically appropriate.
- Clinical administration arising from their own consultations.
- Safe and effective clinical decision-making within the agreed job plan.
- Collaborative working with the wider multidisciplinary team.
The exact appointment structure, administration time and workload will be agreed as part of the job plan before the post commences.
- Be fully registered with the General Medical Council.
- Be included on the relevant performers list.
- Have experience working in UK general practice.
- Be able to work independently while contributing positively to the wider team.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and consultation skills.
- Be committed to safe, inclusive and patient-centred care.
- Hold appropriate medical indemnity and occupational health clearance.
About
us
Waterfront and Solent Surgery is a friendly, well-established, training
practice serving approximately 8,000 patients on the Waterside area of the New
Forest. We are supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team, including Advanced
Clinical Practitioner, Practice Nurses, Nursing Associate and GP Assistant and an
experienced Admin team. We are also
supported by PCN staff including Pharmacists, Pharmacy techs, MH Practitioners,
Health and wellbeing team and a First Contact Physiotherapist.
We
aim to provide a supportive working environment where clinicians have time to
deliver safe, high-quality care and maintain a healthy worklife balance.
Qualifications
Essential: - Qualified GP; - MRCGP; - Certificate of completion of training (CCT)
Eligibility
Essential: - Full GMC Registration; - Performers List Registration; - Evidence of current validation; - Appropriate defence indemnity
