- Conducting patient consultations (face-to-face, telephone)
- Diagnosing and treating a range of medical conditions
- Prescribing medications
- Providing health education and advice for patients
- Managing chronic diseases
- Participating in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhering to clinical guidelines and best practice
- Participating in Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- Contributing to the development and implementation of practice policies
- Supporting the training and development of other healthcare professionals

- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
- Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP)
Experience
Essential
- Experience as a GP in the NHS
Desirable
- Experience in specific areas of interest (e.g., women's health, child health)
- Teaching or mentoring experience
Qualifications

- Completion of relevant postgraduate qualifications (e.g., Diploma in Family Planning, Minor Surgery).
