Permanent | Part-Time | 4 Sessions per Week (18 Hours)

Christchurch Medical Practice is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Salaried GP to join

our dedicated Same Day Acute & Urgent Care service. This role focuses on acute

presentations and urgent clinical care within a supportive training practice. Start date:

Flexible.

Provide same-day consultations; manage acute and urgent presentations; prescribe safely;

request and interpret investigations; action results and correspondence; complete referrals

and reports; work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.

Christchurch Medical Practice is a forward-thinking training practice serving approximately

16,000 patients. Located close to the Jurassic Coast and New Forest, we offer an excellent

work-life balance and a supportive working environment.

Salary dependent on experience, NHS Pension Scheme, generous annual leave and study

leave, dedicated acute care role, supportive team, professional development opportunities

and flexible start date.

Essential

MBBS/MBChB or equivalent, Full GMC Registration, inclusion on the GMC GP

Register, UK General Practice experience, excellent communication skills and commitment

to patient-centred care.

Desirable

Same-day acute care experience, training practice

experience, service development interest.

DBS and Registration

Qualifications

Essential

  • Fully qualified GP
  • Inclusion on the GMC GP Register
  • Current GMC Registration
