- Initial 612 month contract

Main duties will include;
- Provide general medical services in accordance with the GMS contract.
- Conduct patient consultations (face-to-face, telephone and occasional home visits where appropriate).
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Promote health education and preventative medicine.
- Undertake clinical procedures within scope of competence.
- Review laboratory results and hospital correspondence, with letters already triaged to minimise administrative workload.
- Maintain accurate patient records using SystmOne.
- Work within agreed clinical protocols and NICE guidance.
- Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, allied health professionals and administrative staff.
- Participate in practice meetings, clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives.
- Support the supervision and training of medical students, GP registrars and other learners where appropriate.

Experience
Essential
- Experience working in UK general practice or an equivalent setting
- Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- IT literate, with experience using SystmOne
- Understanding of NHS primary care, QOF, enhanced services and CQC standards
- Professional, reliable and respectful approach
- Flexible and adaptable
- Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion
- Enthusiasm for contributing to the continued development of the practice
- Awareness of safeguarding procedures
Qualifications
Essential: - Fully qualified GP with GMC registration; - Annual appraisal and revalidation (when appropriate); - Be on the NHSE medical performers list
